The Civil Society for the Eradication of Tuberculosis (TB Network) is currently implementing the community systems strengthening component of the Nigeria Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH) Grant (2024–2026) under the Global Fund’s Grant Cycle 7 (GC7), in partnership with the National Tuberculosis, Leprosy and Buruli-Ulcer Control Programme (NTBLCP). TB Network is responsible for coordinating civil society-led interventions across ten states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), focusing on capacity building, community-led monitoring (CLM), policy engagement, and grassroots accountability for improved health outcomes in the fight against AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (ATM). This intervention seeks to amplify community voices and build resilient systems by institutionalizing data-driven advocacy, strengthening civil society participation in technical working groups, and empowering local actors, including traditional leaders and community health structures, to address service delivery gaps. The project deliverables include the development and validation of CLM tools, regular performance reviews, financial and programmatic reporting, and strategic learning outputs. TB Network leads the implementation, compliance, and reporting process, while NTBLCP provides oversight in alignment with Global Fund principles. This initiative contributes to national efforts to reduce disease burdens and strengthen the responsiveness and sustainability of Nigeria’s health systems.
